The clinical application of meditation has undergone extensive scientific research in recent years. Rapid advances in MRI and brain-mapping technology have led to a far greater understanding of the intimate relationship between physical health and psychological wellbeing.
At Broadgate Spine Centre we offer Asunya Meditation. Designed specifically for clinical application, Asunya Meditation addresses a wide range of psychological, emotional and physical health issues, providing a unique opportunity to learn personalised techniques - specific to your needs - with expert guidance and specialist care.
Meditation has been shown to be particularly effective in addressing the following health symptoms:
Physical: high blood pressure; insomnia; respiratory dysfunction; chronic back pain; frequent illness (weak immune system); muscular tension; chronic tiredness and exhaustion; irritable-bowel syndrome (IBS); migraine and headaches; pre-menstrual tension (PMT).
Psychological: persistent negative thoughts; depression; anxiety and worry; phobias; low self-esteem; irritability and issues of anger; inability to focus and concentrate; muddled and confused thinking; low levels of enthusiasm and persistent feelings of being unfulfilled.
