04/03/08: Our illustrious Consultant Neurological and Spinal Surgeon, Mr Peter Hamlyn, is once again testing his limits by competing in this year's London Marathon. 04/03/08: Chiropractor and Clinic Director Alan Jordan was asked to address the annual meeting of the British Chiropractic Association in Cardiff this past weekend, 1st/2nd March. He was asked to explain how a group such as ours was formed and how the clinic functions on a daily basis regarding interdisciplinary care.
Many of those present expressed the view that our clinical model was unique in the UK and represented the model clinic of the future.
25/10/07: Considerable effort has been put into developing a Headache Clinic which is a true centre of excellence, in the City. The Clinic will be led by Dr Hadi Manji, Consultant Neurologist and will begin seeing patients on 1 November 2007. We recently hosted an introduction evening to other health care professionals in the City and the reception was uniformly positive.
15/10/07: Chiropractor Alan Jordan, Phd has been awarded with a Fellowship of the British Chiropractic Association (BCA) for his contribution to chiropractic in Europe. He has also been appointed to represent the BCA in the development of the National Institute for Clinical Excellence (N.I.C.E.) guidelines for the management of chronic lower back pain.
