Stress Management

Stress is the most common cause of sick-leave in the City. The demanding and stressful environment in the City may result in individuals suffering from symptoms of stress which vary greatly from person to person. Sleeping disorders, substance abuse, anxiety, depression, and aggression are just a few of the common symptoms. We are pleased to have a highly experienced and dedicated psychiatrist to help patients that are in need of stress management.

Jan Falkowski, Consultant Psychiatrist, Bsc. MB.BS, MRCPsych MBA TD.

Dr Jan Falkowski qualified from St Georges in 1984 and has been a Consultant Psychiatrist at The Royal London Hospital since 1994. He has held the post of Medical Director and Clinical Director in the NHS and is currently Training Programme Director for Psychiatry at Barts & The London, where he also regularly lectures. Dr Falkowski has a degree in Psychology and Biomedical Sciences and is a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists. Dr Falkowski treats all areas of general adult psychiatry including affective and anxiety disorders, alcohol and substance misuse, post traumatic stress disorder and psychotic illnesses. In addition to his NHS work Dr Falkowski also consults at 10 Harley Street and at The London Independent.
